How to Read This List
Some Jeep names overlap because the brand reused important names. The original Gladiator was a full-size pickup from the 1960s, while the modern Gladiator is a Wrangler-based midsize pickup. Wagoneer has also meant different things at different times: original SJ, compact XJ trim, Grand Wagoneer luxury SUV, and today's full-size premium SUV family.
Military, export, and postal models complicate the story too. They are included here when they are part of the main Jeep timeline, but this table is not a trim-by-trim registry.
